The glass haunts us. If within the four walls of the alcove there is a mirror, I am no longer alone. There is another. There is the reflection that builds a stealthy play-acting at dawn.

God has created the nights that are made of dreams and mirror shapes so that man feels that he is reflection and vanity. That is why they frighten us.
